Best/worst cricketing experience: Worst: I asked my wife to catch the bus/train from Hoboken, NJ to come to Philadelphia to watch us (me) play in the festival. In her two separate visits: I bowled a 17 ball over when opening the bowling; and in another instance I was back in the hut even before she could get her coffee cup ready.
Best: Leading a young unit in the Mid-Atlantic Cricket Conference (MACC League) in 2005 to the finals of the league which spans 17 teams across three different states in the US.
Previous cricketing experience: I've been told that I started batting using a clothes washing paddle when I was still in diapers ... so many many years of experience :)
I started playing club cricket (leather ball) when I joined a cricket academy in India, followed by Westonian's CC (Leicester, England), Raleigh CC (North Carolina, US), and then Hoboken CC (New Jersey, US).
Also travel with the Wandering Anzacs for the annual Philadelphia Cricket Festival.
Reason for joining Lamma C.C.: There was an opening :) and I wanted to play cricket with beer!
